Lampe Berger Effusion Lamps

If you've been in Fir Street Gallery & Gifts in the past year, you have experienced and maybe even have taken home one of the effusion lamps. For those of you who haven't been in to see them, Lampe Berger is a 105 year old company that has been offering Europe a way of elimenating oder, purifying the air and killing bacteria from their homes through a catalytic lamp.

Lampe Berger was invented by Marcel Berger, a pharmacist, who discovered over one hundred years ago the catalytic qualities that enable Lampe Berger to neutralize and eliminate odors and kill bacteria. Originally offered to kill bacteria in hospitals Lampe Berger did just that, then in the 1930’s, Lampe Berger began offering fragrance and beautiful lamp designs, along with the ability to purify the air and kill bacteria.

Lampe Berger lamps are designed by creative artists and made of fine materials, such as limoges porcelain from France, crystals, the finest ceramics and the highest quality of glass. The combination of the art inspired designs and the finest of materials make Lampe Berger a favorite among collector’s.

1.Place your Lampe Berger on a stable surface away from any source of heat.

Remove the open work shade (A) and the cap (B

)

2.Fill your Lampe Berger 2/3 full iwth a Lampe Berger Parfum de Maison (lamp oil). Wipe your Lampe Berger carefully.

3.Insert wick (F) incorporated in the burner (E) into your Lampe Berger. check the burner (E) is insurted fully into the neck (C). Before the first use, replace the cap (B) and leave the wick (F) to soak for approximately 20 min

4.Light the burner (E) using a lighter or match. Leave the flame to burn for 2 minutes. WARNING: Never place the openwork shade (A) over the flame!

5.Blow out the flame

6. Your Lampe Berger is now operating. Never touch the burner during operations.

Replace the openwork shade (A) over the burner (E). 25-45 minute burn time is

sufficient for a room of approximately 300 sq feet.

7. To stop your Lampe Berger, remove the openwork shade (A)

and replace the cap (B) on the burner (E).

Replace the openwork shade on the lamp.

Recommendation:

Replace the wick and burner assembly (E + F) once a year or every 250 uses.
Keep your Lampe Berger and Parfums de Maison out of the reach of children.
If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
Never operate your Lampe Berger without Parfum de Maison.
When your Lampe Berger is not in use, please ensure that the cap (B) is on the burner (E).
This prevents the evaporation of the Parfum de Maison.
The LAMPE BERGER guarantee is only valid when Lampe Berger Parfums de Maison are used.
